I love shortcuts.

I can't imagine anyone not liking a shortcut.

Time is precious and money, well, a teenage college student and his friends eat through that pretty quick.

A new checkout line opens up at Wal-Mart; I’m there instead of the self-serve line.

Coupons for triple the money off on Mountain Dew, I will use it.

If Brand X, in my cabinet can be substituted for Y in a recipe, so that I don’t have to swim through a rainstorm to get to the grocery store; I will use it.

When there's a better way to avoid rush hour traffic, done. Tell anyone, never.

My favorite shortcut on the computer is Ctrl Z, to undo what I didn’t want to do.

Some shortcuts work out fine, while others may look silly.

When I was in college, I would use any time saving shortcut so that I could sleep a little longer.

One way: stuff pajamas under a sweatshirt and into some jeans for an 8:00 class, then back to bed for 3 more hours.

How about only iron the collar and cuffs of a long sleeve shirt hidden under a sweater.

Or,brush my teeth, pull my hair into a pony-tail and go without make-up to class.

Even now, I still paint only the toenails that show through sandals, to get to church on time.

Scott tells me it’s not worth driving 20 miles to save $5.

What if that was in conjunction with a nice lunch, bargain hunting and lots of conversation with a friend?

I think $5 would be a huge bonus, and a great shortcut to a nicer lunch.

Please tell me that you like shortcuts too. What weird ones do you use? I'd love to hear about them.
