Smiles

Have you ever seen a person that never smiles?
No matter the situation, they always look constipated.

I’m so glad that I don’t have that problem.

Smiles are contagious. Only the grumpiest persons ignore them.
Personally, I can’t help but smile back.

Sometimes a smile is accompanied with “good morning” or “have a nice day”.
However, a smile can speak volumes by itself.

There are different smiles:

A smile that accompanies a small laugh,

My upper lip curls up because I know something you don’t,

A devious smile that needs to be wiped off a face,

I’m only smiling to make you think you’re funny,

I’m pleasantly amused, I’m the queen and I don’t smile at peasants,

I like what I see and hear, and all my teeth are showing,

A smile that turns into a belly laugh- this is my favorite.

You can probably think of others.

Did you know that it takes more muscles to smile than frown?
I think exercise is a good thing, so get out there and smile.

Sometimes I smile just to make people think I'm up to something. Have you smiled today? Let me hear about it at aitken.helen@gmail.com .
Here's wishing you lots of toothy grins today.
