Water aerobics, again

Imagine a small whale wearing a bathing suit. That would be me in February.

Being self-conscious with blubber-overload didn’t help.

Going to water aerobics helped significantly.

Now, I’m a large porpoise in a bathing suit.

I cringed just walking from the locker room to the water. Then I realized, there were other women (and a few men) who needed to be in water aerobics too!

The benefits for me, in W.A., are many: I get to talk to nice people; I have become more flexible and I can see my shoes again.

Sometimes I work out so hard that I reward myself with a piece of candy that waits in my car…
I go to the pool five times a week. When I’m exercising by myself, other people leave soon thereafter. I hope I don’t look like I might need a defibrillator.

Since February, I’ve lost 12 pounds.

My husband said “Where?”

When the swelling in his lips go down, I’m sure he’ll apologize.
