Water Aerobics

I was watching a DVD on the TV. Soft music played in the background and a gentle voice gave a short instruction on how to use a waist belt for deep water aerobics.

Scott heard the music and came down the stairs to inquire.

“What are you watching?”

“A deep water aerobics DVD.”

“That’s a strange way to exercise. Have you lost any weight watching the DVD?”

“Oh yea. I broke a sweat 20 minutes ago.”

“In the recliner?”

“Yes, this is the newest way to burn calories without trying.”

Scott went back upstairs shaking his head.

I’m sure he was thinking ‘Wouldn’t it be great if watching football on TV could burn a few calories’.

If only it was that easy.
